Last night my friend Erick & I got to see the Color Purple starring former American Idol winner ‘Fantasia’ & it was aaammmmmaazziinnngg! The red carpet premier was last night & I saw Arsenio Hall, Quincy Jones, Chaka Khan, Jai Rodriguez & so many others!

I can’t express how much this show is a MUST SEE! Fantasia’s performance is a constant reminder of her talents & beautiful vocals. If you’ve seen the Oprah Winfrey production of the Color Purple on screen then you can only imagine the powerful impact of the show LIVE.

I highly recommend you get some musical culture in you, if you don’t have any already & go check it out! No need to travel to New York to experience the amazing performances by the whole cast & crew of this show.

We as Californians don’t really spoil ourselves with ‘Broadway’ shows in our backyard, so give your self a treat & GO SEE IT!

p.s. bring a box of Kleenex! Tear-jerker!

p.s.s. ran into Raq-C & her moms & Fuzzy (Big Boys Neighborhood) Raq-c isn’t in the picture cause she was running late & Fuzzy cried & loved it!
